The 2015 GMC Canyon is mpg and specs an all-new model General Motors re-enters the midsize pickup segment using the 2015 GMC Canyon and its company cousin, the Chevrolet Colorado. GM complete its midsize pickup production last year, ceding the sector towards the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier (Ford complete U. S. production of its Ranger midsize pickup in 2011). Even prior to their finish but, the Canyon and Colorado were saddled along with inefficient powertrains and subpar interiors and never seriously contested the Tacoma’s supremacy inside the segment.

Design of 2015 GMC Canyon

The 2015 GMC Canyon Design is likely to come out slightly bigger compared to the previous model. As for the exterior look, this mid-size pick-up will feature a large front grille embellished with distinctive thick and long chrome lines. However, other refreshments are hard to tell since we only dispose of shots with a camouflaged truck. Speaking of the interior style, we are not able to inform you how this mid-range American will look. Anyhow, we can assume that it be offered with many cutting-edge technology elements, such as IntelliLink infotainment system and hopefully, a large touchscreen. Hopefully, it will neither lack any valuable safety feature.

Engine range for 2015 GMC Canyon

As for the engine choice in the 2015 GMC Canyon Engine, there aren’t any exact data yet. The opinions are quite different. Among the speculated options, there is a chance to be: a new 4.3-liter V6, a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, 3.6-liter V6 (the same as in the Terrain model) or a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder power unit (from the Chevrolet Malibu). Nevertheless, the thing we know for sure is that this popular pick-up truck will be driven by all wheels and that it will be powerful enough to haul up to 6,500 pounds. And as far as the fuel consumption, it is hoped to be much less than its forerunner.

Price of 2015 GMC Canyon

It is still uncertain how much this upcoming 2015 GMC Canyon Price will cost. Yet, we suppose it will be very similar to the price of the previous model. When it comes out in the streets, it will be a big competition to Honda Ridgeline and Toyota Tacoma.
